PIH Medical Centre is seeking to recruit highly motivated individuals to fill two positions of ICU Nurse.
Reporting to the Matron, this position provides hands-on care to patients as instructed by the physician, clinical officer, or Lead nurse by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients’ conditions, and maintaining records. She/he will work shift schedules, day or night, including weekends.
Qualification and requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Current nurses license registered with the Nurses and Midwives council of Malawi.
- Trained ART provider.
- Excellent practical skills.
- Good communication and observation skills
- A team player.
- Those with hands-on experience in ICU nursing will have an added advantage.
The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to attend a one-year course in ICU and Critical Care Nursing on a PIH scholarship.
