GAIA aligns its work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Ministries of Health in Malawi and Zambia. They work with local communities, governments and implementation partners to move towards Universal Health Coverage of quality, equitable, and affordable healthcare to improve the population’s health status. PIH has been working with GAIA since 2021, through jointly supporting Mulanje district, conducting Partner meetings, jointly planning outreach clinics where applicable, Community HIV testing and joint response to natural disasters
