UNC project-Malawi, is under the UNC Chapel, USA. Since the early 90s’ UNC been conducting HIV and STD research in Malawi in collaboration with the Malawi Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide technical assistance in the design of several clinical management guidelines for HIV and STDs. PIH collaborates with UNC on HIV implementation research activities for PVT/EID follow‑up as well PrEP for high‑risk groups. UNC molecular lab also processes HPV samples from PIH districts. PIH and UNC collaboration dates as back as 2004.
