Operating under the umbrella of Community of Sant’Egidio, DREAM (originally referred to as Drug Resource Enhancement against AIDS and Malnutrition) Malawi program commenced in 2005. DREAM has 13 health facilities; it also runs three molecular biology laboratories in Blantyre, Dowa and Balaka. Through MoH arrangement, PIH Viral Load samples from Mulanje are tested at DREAM lab in Blantyre. PIH and DREAM participate in Clinical and Lab partners meetings as well as several HIV/TB Technical Working Groups in support of Malawi’s HIV program.
