LGCs operate under the umbrella of Malawi Local Government and have the mandate to oversee health delivery in 29 districts in Malawi. District Councils are an important HIV/TB programming stakeholder. Since 2021, PIH projects section collaborates with 9 DCs through partner engagement providing a platform to discuss the much-needed health sector support versus implementers resource availability
